The National governing body of archery in Uganda is the Uganda Archery Federation. It serves to promote and regulate archery nation-wide and in conformity with the Olympic principles. It aims at framing and interpreting the FITA Rules and arranging for the organization of Championships Nationally and other international competitions. It is affiliated to FITA, Federation of African Archery and Uganda Olympic Committee.

Uganda free from ebola
Director General of health services Dr. D. K. Lwamafa confirmed safety of the country and that there is currently no travel ban in any part of the country, including Kibaale district which was the epicenter of the outbreak.

 Crime rate continues to fall

Crime, traffic and Road Safety reports indicate a reduction in crime rate in the country. Police registered a 3.8 percent further reduction in crime rate in the country.
